Interest Form for Colorado Needs Assessment Released

In June 2022, the state of Colorado passed house Bill 22-1355. This will require producers of packaging to cover the cost of recycling across the state, which will include investment in new infrastructure and development of end markets for recycled materials. One of the first steps in the process is to conduct a state-wide needs assessment.

The state’s Producer responsibility organization, Circular Action Alliance, selected HDR and Eunomia Research & Consulting to complete the assessment of Colorado's existing recycling and composting infrastructure. As part of this process, these firms will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to understand current service provision and to access data.

Stakeholders seeking to proactively get involved in the process may complete this interest form with their contact information and organization type.
